CapitaLand is committed to be a good corporate citizen. Its corporate social responsibility efforts focus on philanthropy, the environment and the community.
CapitaLand believes in building for the future by protecting the environment for future generations. The CapitaLand Green Buildings Guidelines apply to all of CapitaLand’s major building development and management projects. Award-winning projects by CapitaLand Residential Singapore include The Interlace, The Wharf Residence and The Seafront on Meyer.
Occupational health and safety is of paramount importance to CapitaLand. In 2009, the Group obtained OHSAS 18000 certification (Standards for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) in Singapore, in addition to ISO 14000 certification for environmental management obtained previously for Singapore, China and Vietnam.
“Little Green Step”, the latest initiative at CapitaLand’s residential show suites, encourages visitors to play a part in conserving the environment by returning brochures that they do not wish to keep. In line with reducing paper usage, concerted efforts were made to design concise yet handy brochures for visitors to the show suites.
